Place the animation cursor at the frame you wish to use to cut and press

the K key. After you cut a Strip, it will be possible to select each part

and:

Reorder your remaining parts.

Erase parts of a Strip.

Duplicate and copy parts of a Strip. You can duplicate Strips with a

SHIFT+D.

You can't join two different Strips. Instead, we can make something

called a MetaStrip. That is a composed Strip made from several parts.

To create a MetaStrip: select multiple Strips and press the CTRL+G keys

(Figure 8.20).
